My experience at the OYO hotel was deeply unsettling. Despite having booked in advance and discussing my needs, I was denied check-in upon arrival because I was a foreigner. The staff showed no empathy, and I was left desperate and humiliated, having to make an awful choice. Avoid this place if you are not local. On the other hand, the Vanam resort offered basic and budget-friendly accommodations amidst nature, but getting into the city without a vehicle was a real hassle.
